RECOMMENDED SETUP GUIDE 

Follow these recommended steps to get the best performance, image quality, and durability from your Carl’s Place Pro Enclosure:

1. Measure Your Room Carefully

• Minimum recommended ceiling height: at least 6–12 inches above your enclosure height

• Ensure enough depth for both:

  • Your enclosure depth (5–15 ft)

  • Launch monitor placement (varies by device)

• Leave 1–2 ft of clearance behind the screen for sound and impact absorption

2. Assemble or Install Your Frame

• If using Carl’s Pipe Kit: follow included diagrams; pipes are pre-cut

• If sourcing locally:

  • Use Carl’s provided cut sheet

  • Schedule a pipe cutting appointment at your hardware store

• Build the frame on the floor first, then raise it into place for easier assembly

3. Install the One-Piece Enclosure Panel

• Drape the wraparound ceiling/sidewall panel over the frame

• Pull fabric evenly to ensure tension and alignment

• Secure with supplied fasteners

4. Attach the Impact Screen

• Start by attaching the top corners

• Work outward and downward to maintain even tension

• Use included foam inserts along the sides and bottom to create a clean, protected edge

• Attach flaps using the upgraded 2” hook-and-loop strips

5. Install the Moveable Crossbar (If Included)

• Slide forward or backward depending on your launch monitor requirements

• Typical guidelines:

  • Radar-based systems (Mevo+, Garmin, TrackMan): crossbar further back

  • Camera-based systems (Uneekor, Foresight): crossbar closer to the screen

• Lock into place once alignment is correct

6. Add Optional Components

If purchased:

• Install Back Cover Kit for a fully enclosed studio

• Add Safety Baffles to shield ceiling-mounted projectors

• Install Pipe Kit or any additional frame supports

7. Projector & Launch Monitor Setup

• Align projector to center of the screen

• Use the projector’s keystone/throw ratio settings for the best fit

• Place your launch monitor according to manufacturer specs

• Test with soft chips before hitting at full swing speed

8. Final Calibration & Testing

• Run launch monitor calibration

• Adjust screen tension as needed

• Confirm proper image shape and brightness

• Take a few warmup swings to ensure no bouncebacks or hotspots

Warranty & Product Longevity
Carl’s Place products are classified as “wearable,” meaning they naturally experience use over time and therefore do not include a traditional warranty. We help customers maximize product life by providing clear setup recommendations and performance guidelines. When components do eventually need replacement, our enclosures are designed so that individual parts can be easily swapped out. Customers can request replacement pieces by providing the original order number and confirming current shipping details.

Returns & Refunds
Carl’s Place accepts returns on eligible items as long as they are sent back in new, unused condition. All returns undergo inspection, and restocking fees may apply—especially for custom sizes or products not eligible for full return. Enclosure Kits must be returned as complete sets with all components included. Once a return is received and approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
